The average net salary of programmers in November was 281.991 dinars, which, according to the data of the Republic Institute of Statistics (RZS), still makes them the best-paid profession in Serbia.
In one month, they earn as much as employees in certain personal service activities in half a year. The average November salary of the latter was 46.672 dinars.
The November national average salary in Serbia is 89.956 dinars. Less than that amount was received by those engaged in agriculture with an average of 73.977, trade, where the average income was 76.755 dinars, traffic 79.270 dinars, accommodation and food services 52.891, administration 80.436 dinars, education 82.497 dinars, art, entertainment and recreation 73.075 dinars. .
According to RZS data, although the average in traffic was less than 80.000 dinars, some parts of this sector recorded high incomes, such as air traffic, where the average November income was 190.556 dinars.
Large differences in income were also recorded in the processing industry. The average is 77.464 dinars, but those employed in wood processing received an average of 51.226 dinars, and those in the production of coke and oil derivatives 145.903 dinars.
Among the activities with earnings above the average is mining with 120.398 dinars, and within it, employees in the exploitation of crude oil and natural gas receive 163.570 dinars.
Employees in the financial and insurance sectors received on average 129.424 dinars each, the most in information and communications, 219.466 dinars each. This activity also includes programming, with a record 281.991 dinars.
