Doctors from Arandjelovac went with an ambulance to Kragujevac to vote in the elections in the Medical Chamber, shows a recording obtained by "Vreme".
In the video, according to our source, Gordana Gajović, the director of the Aranđelovac Health Center, is seen first, followed by other colleagues.
The video shows them arriving in front of the "Dositej Obradović" high school, which is located right next to the building of the Regional Medical Chamber, where the vote is held.
According to the regulations, medical vehicles they may only be used for ambulance service and patient transport, not for the transport of the director or staff.
Between Arandjelovac and Kragujevac is an hour's drive in one direction, so an ambulance was not available to the emergency service for hours.
Pride, the passengers, apparently the doctors-voters, rode the whole way in the back part of the vehicle reserved for patients.
Deleted from the list
The elections for the Medical Chamber of Serbia are followed by other controversies. Several doctors told the editorial office of "Vremen" that they could not vote because they were not on the voter list, even though they are members of the Chamber and work as doctors.
The movement "Kreni-permeni" announced the same, claiming that hundreds of people were involved.
"They were excluded from the voter list, without any prior notice. As the only explanation, they received a verbal warning that their institutions did not submit work contracts to the Chamber," claims Crani-promeni.
Doctors announce an official complaint, adds the movement. "An election without a full electoral roll is not an election."
