It is in Serbia police politicized and criminalized. And that is something that this regime has been dedicatedly working on, and it will be a difficult legacy for whoever and whenever comes to power after progressive. Namely, in 13 years, numerous shifts, premature retirements, systematization, so-called, were carried out in the MUP. career advancement. At the same time, thousands and thousands of new people were brought in, usually after short trainings and receiving "through connections".
It is already an open secret that some management positions are occupied by people whose files were deleted by the secret services before joining the police, many managers have purchased diplomas, and some were directly appointed to the most important positions by the most dangerous criminals and they lead squads for the persecution of both students and citizens, the opposition, as well as for "purging" the MUP of honest members of the police. In the meantime, almost everything that worked "in the name of the people" and not "in the name of the party" in the Serbian police was arrested, satanized, prematurely or regularly retired or assigned to some positions of coordinators, where they do not know the exact duties - they were squeezed into cramped offices, often without computers or even chairs.
In the past, the most experienced homicide inspectors, without a blemish in their career, can now be found in fire stations... Those who understand police work and would not accept orders against the law have been wandering the shadowy corridors of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for years, while party loyalists or those who are expected to be so if they do not want the regime to make their lives miserable are taken to the streets. If someone had a hard time breaking skulls, faces, ribs and spilling the blood of his own people, he has already taken sick leave and is looking for a way to avoid returning to work anytime soon.
Orders on the ground are issued by police officers in tight pants, thousand-euro sneakers, policewomen with profiles on Instagram that, in addition to pictures from some state institution with the prime minister or some minister, also have a photo from a spa center, from the beach in Dubai, and a close-up of their buttocks in a swimming pool. Heads with apartments in Dedinje worth several million euros, as well as those who spend all their "free time" building buildings, opening cafes and rafts, or running private security companies, manage everything from their offices, curled up in leather armchairs.
Whoever hopes that the police will go over to the people's side out of a sense of justice does not know the current blood picture of the MUP. Criminalized and party cadres can only betray the regime, if they really want to, to save their own skin, and only when they have agreed a good price for it.

BOTH WITH A SHIELD AND WITH A STICK, THEY SERVE THE PARTY
By not doing anything to suspicious characters and brutally doing things to students and citizens who are only looking for elections, the Serbian police has again reached the dark list after the dark nineties. If any of the foreign citizens were to read this text, it is important to note after all that Serbia is a country that presents itself as democratic and whose goal is to become a member of the European Union.
For months, Belgrade policemen have been standing calmly, almost intimidated, in front of the tents in Pionirski Park. Around them, bloated guys in phantoms walk around, threatening, kidding and attacking every citizen who tries to approach one of the most visited parks of the capital.
In Serbia, it is generally allowed to wear a fantomka, except at sports events. There is no law that would prohibit the wearing of a phantom in other situations, such as public transport or in cafes.
However, it is not allowed for masked suspects to attack and threaten whomever they can reach - students, passers-by, journalists, and even opposition MPs, while policemen in uniforms just turn their heads.
Opponents of the protest who present themselves as "Students who want to learn" are allegedly housed in Pionirski Park. However, the heads of hardened criminals and mercenaries known as "dogs of war" were seen sticking out of those tents. It has been reported to the police several times that there are numerous firearms, arsenals of long and short barrels, canisters with tear gas and gas masks in the tents, in the hands of hooligans and those with thick records...
Representatives of law and order never conducted a search. The top of the Belgrade police is silent and hides behind commands from the sphere of incompetence, while the so-called "Fair of Clans".

WHO IS ORDERING WHOM IN SERBIA UNDER THE PHANTOMS?
And so, do the games of nerves continue, and the citizens ask themselves: Are the police afraid? Not moving? Are they silent because they are on the side of the government or are they more sympathetic to the students?
The questions are countless, and the answer is one - they react to the command. As their order is, so is their execution... And the executions proved to be brutal and merciless towards the young, the old, girls, women, and even children.
When they put on armor and helmets, take a baton and a plastic shield, then they are there to break up demonstrations, usually first with warnings, and since they are difficult to move equipped like that, they will try to do the job with as little force as possible.
A specialist company is planned for the defensive, they have black T-shirts, usually a bulletproof vest and a metal shield. With so little equipment, they are flexible and ready to fight.
By the way, police officers are also allowed to wear phantoms, if they judge that they are safer in the field. It is not allowed for them not to present themselves and not to be legitimized, which was often the case in the previous days.
Chiefs of police stations, chiefs and inspectors of the Department for Public Order and Peace, traffic policemen, police brigade commander, Police Intervention Units (IJP), all of them report to the head of the Police Administration for the City of Belgrade, Veselin Milić. And every city in Serbia has its own head of the Police Department and the hierarchy is the same.
When it comes to the Unit for the Security of Certain Persons and Objects (JZO) and the Gendarmerie, whose work is also very noticeable in the public, but not for good, they answer to the director of the police.
The Internal Control Sector (SUK) reports to the Director and the Minister of Police. They should monitor and investigate the correctness of the work of other police officers. Absurd, but even they participated in the arrests and clashed with the citizens of Vračar, who considered them kidnappers considering that they did not have any visible police markings.
In an interview with "Vreme", one of the inspectors of the Department of Internal Control of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia told us (on the condition that he remain anonymous): "We have been in plainclothes for months on the street and observe our colleagues in uniform. But not to monitor their professionalism, but to record how loyal they are to the ruling party, since the party controls the police force. The fact that they have not resisted so far, even if they were once provoked, when they walk around 'Ćaciland' next to them with sticks or The rioters throw eggs at them, it's only because they didn't have the command to act, they would be responsible because they disobeyed the order, even if they were brutally used. Remember our civilian colleague Lazar Bačić RTS. When in the public did not get the spin that he was injured by students, the case was put in a drawer," says the interlocutor for "Vreme".
It was elegiac, but inaccurate, the speech of an opposition woman who, as a retired colonel, addressed the policemen on the street these days, telling them that if the elders use excessive force, they will "let them down the drain" and punish them. However, it is far from the case. The practice of recent years shows that the police brutality of the government's favorites is rewarded. There are examples all over Serbia. For example, numerous environmental activists in eastern Serbia were beaten and never learned the identities of their tormentors, and beaten students who end up on the surgical table after surgery are handcuffed to the bed.
It was precisely because of police brutality that a large number of citizens suspected that criminals were hiding under their uniforms. However, the interlocutor of "Vremena" says that this is not the case.
"Criminals with a record in the system and who cooperate with the BIA are usually given security service badges, but to protect themselves from proper policemen. When you have an extremely criminalized police force, as is the case in Serbia, there is no longer a need to use anyone who is not already in the official police system to break up demonstrations. Many citizens, as I saw from the comments on social networks, were confused by the numerous tattoos on the policemen. Some covered them with cloths, so it was further suspected that it's about some recognizable tattoos of criminal clans. It's true that they are allowed to have more than one tattoo, but the rulebook stipulates that they must be discreetly covered. Many of them were working overtime and in the field they were actually just trying to comply with the rulebook on police appearance, not their identity it is still better to have identification a shaved face, possibly a mustache," concludes the SUK member.

When judicial justice is absent, the public is the only thing that can correct the records of history. So now the whole of Serbia knows who carried out the most brutal arrests during the previous protests.
The Unit for the Security of Certain Persons and Facilities (JZO), led by Marko Krichak, stood out in particular.
He was appointed to that position by the former Minister of Police, Bratislav Gašić. Kricak comes from a police family, in which his father was a policeman and head of the Department for Combating Drugs of the Belgrade Police. The tabloids stated that before the police he worked in the BIA, and before that in a leasing house as a salesman, but this information was denied.
For Krička, the opposition MP Miroslav Aleksić said that he is a close friend of Zvonko Veselinović and Milan Radoičić, and the citizens had the opportunity to see him at roadblocks these days as well. Ana Gođevac, vice president of the Belgrade committee of the Freedom and Justice Party, posted a video of her kicking away wooden pallets at one of the blockades on her X account, with the question: "Is this Marko Krichak on a new assignment?".
The former head of the Department for the fight against drugs Slobodan Milenković and his chief operative inspector Dušan Milenković, the police officers who discovered "Jovanjica", according to the indictment, the largest skunk factory in Europe and arrested Predrag Koluvia, have repeatedly appealed to the competent institutions that there is information that a million euros have already been paid for their murder. The MUP offered them to be guarded by members of the JZO, but Milenkovic and Mitić refused, and members of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit were assigned to them.
On the Nova portal, a video of a female police officer with her colleagues at the Faculty of Law torturing a student and pulling her hair, trying to lift her head and perform facial recognition on the phone, appeared recently. It is unclear whether they tried to unlock her phone without a court order or whether they photographed her. According to the source of "Vremena", the police officer who snatched the student is Tanja D, who works as a disciplinary judge at the JZO and assesses the work of her colleagues.
Opposition MPs Miroslav Aleksić and Zdravko Ponoš posted a series of photos and videos of JZO members dragging citizens away on their X accounts. Among them are Marko Zafirović, better known as Marko Miš, who is with his colleagues at the Temple of St. Save put a young man in a car without license plates.
Traffic regulations do not recognize the justification for someone driving a car without license plates, even if he is a police officer.
Mihajlo Maletić, councilor of the National Movement of Serbia (NPS) from Stari Grad, was arrested by a prominently tattooed member of the JZO Milan Vuković, known as Baka.
Citizens were also arrested by an instructor in the training department of the PJSO, Nenad Obradović, known as Mrča, whose wife is a co-owner of the security agency "Astra security".
All these announcements were accompanied by numerous insults and attacks by bots, who are protesting about revealing the identity of police officers who arrest students and citizens.
Those who are at blockades and protests answer: "If they work according to the law and if they serve the people and not just the regime, why is it controversial that everyone should reveal their identities and assets?"
The scene that perhaps best showed the relationship between the police and citizens at roadblocks took place these days in Zemun. Namely, the famous actor Dragan Gagi Jovanović was at the blockade in Zemun and negotiated with the police.
