Jelena Milić was recalled from the position of ambassador of Serbia in Croatia. The pro-regime "Večernje novosti" reminds of the "scandals" during her mandate

Jelena Milić she is no longer the ambassador of Serbia in Croatia, and she was recalled from that position by the decree of the President of the Republic, Aleksandar Vučić, three years after she was appointed.

As "Večernje Novosti" wrote on Tuesday, Jelena Milić's three-year mandate was marked by "diplomatic gaffes", which made her the target of criticism both in Croatia and Serbia.

"Already in her first year of service, she made several inappropriate moves that caused stormy reactions in Serbia," writes "Novosti".

Vukovar's sin

Thus, in August 2023, before the anniversary of the "Storm" action, she "refreshed" the post from March 7 of that year and her visit to Vukovar from the X social network.

"She published a photo with her message from the book of impressions in which she wrote: 'There are no words. Only condolences for the innocent Croatian civilian victims. And eternal respect'. After numerous negative comments, she deleted the questionable post," Ambassador Milić's "Novosti" enumerates.

She made a similar move a few months before, attending the promotion of the book "Diplomatic Storm" by Mate Granić, the Croatian Minister of Foreign Affairs from the time of Franjo Tuđman.

Where the students were applauded

"She came to the center of media attention again last Christmas when she left the reception of the Serbian National Council (SNV) in Zagreb on Christmas Day, where applause was heard for the letter of the winner of the SNV award, which mentions support for young people in Serbia. And recently, she demonstratively left the Conference on National Minority Protection Systems in Croatia and Serbia", writes the scandalized "Novosti".

They also remind that Jelena Milić was under police protection due to death threats.

Milić came to the position of ambassador from the position of director of the Center for Euro-Atlantic Studies and with a long biography as an activist for human rights, an advocate of Serbia's entry into NATO and the EU, and a vocal critic of Serbia's ties with Russia, "Novosti" writes.

Order of Vojë Sešelj with a baseball bat

Just as Šešelj pulled a gun on the students at the beginning of the nineties, so Vučić pulls his beaters on their rebellious daughters and sons today. It's the same policy, just adapted to the times

Trample and break the damned "blockades", says the president
