The regime systematically tries to dehumanize students and all other political opponents. They are "blockade-terrorists", "Ustasha", "the worst villains", "inarticulate lunatics"... Any method against them is allowed.
Today, SNS is a fan-hooligan in the full sense of the word. Loyalty and "struggle" for the party is demonstrated by street violence, cruelty and callousness. Vučić doesn't just cheer them on with the statement that "everything has changed on the street, everything is different." However, in reality it is not, it is for nothing.
Lawlessness and hooligan manners are exclusively bensedin for the most hard-line progressive-radical electorate. It is clear to the majority of Serbia that it cannot continue with this and this kind of regime.
Autumn of the Autocrat
Quite simply, Vučić has nothing more to offer the citizens except corruption, lawlessness and violence. His propaganda is dull and irritating. The head of state and the entire Ćailend has not been creating trends and social processes for a long time. He was replaced by students and a rebellious society.
And unlike the previous opposition, he does not really know these new political opponents and has no solution for them. That's why he tries to copy them wherever he can in order to stay as relevant as possible. And what is even more important - to intimidate and demoralize with repression. If Vučić really means to "change the street" in this way, there is no better proof that he does not know it at all.
In fact, it is about his wandering, getting lost and resorting to violence out of fear and panic. Everything is about the same as with any autocrat in the gloomy autumn of their rule.
