According to the principle of "which is greater", the Serbian Progressive Party responded to the stickers of the student movement "on which it is written "Students are winning" with huge posters with the inscription "Serbia is winning"
Oversized banners with the inscription "Serbia wins" which cover the facades of entire buildings, after Belgrade they also appeared in Novi Sad. It is the reaction of the progressive regime to the hundreds of thousands of stickers with the inscription "Students are winning" that flooded Serbia.
The size of the banner should obviously symbolize the strength of the Serbian Progressive Party and its leader Aleksandar Vučić, to show how its opponents are worthless and to discourage the rebellious part of society from continuing to resist.
It seems, however, that it causes the opposite effect, because banners of this size are first of all associated with the arrogance of the rulers, their collective characteristic which contributes to a good extent to the decline in the popularity of the SNS and the SPS, which was drowned in this coalition and lost its own characteristics.
The banners were placed on the building at the corner of Ilija Ognjanović and Modena, in the very center of the city, portal 021 reports.
In Ilije Ognjanović, there is the seat of the city committee of the Serbian Progressive Party.
Advertising messages have been displayed on this building for many years, mostly for Coca-Cola or some other product.
However, it is not the first time that political messages have been posted from the building. The progressives have placed their banners in this location before, mostly as part of election campaigns.
This is not the only location in Novi Sad where the authorities' message "Serbia is winning" is displayed. It also appeared on the "Dnevnika" building in Novi Sad.
