As announced at the rally two weeks ago, today, on the church holiday of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, "Litija for the salvation of Serbia" was held in Belgrade.
In the announcement of the rally, the participants of the procession emphasized that they are advocating for the preservation of traditional family values.
The liturgy started at 18:XNUMX p.m. in front of the Patriarchate of the Serbian Orthodox Church, led by bikers from the motorcycle association "Night Wolves" and headed towards the Church of St. Sava.
The column stopped near the Branko bridge, where the assembled people recited the Our Father prayer in unison, and the singers sang several church songs.
The participants in the liturgy wore church symbols and flags of Serbia, and the priests wore a cloth with the inscription "Holy Father Savo, pray to God for us".
Although two weeks ago the rally was announced as a protest against the organization of Europride, there were no banners or speeches against the event. The participants exclusively carried banners and flags with religious motifs.
