Tender today, no one in Serbia can win, if they are not in some kind of agreement with the authorities, he claims Zoran Drakulic, president of the "Privrednik" club, reports N1.
Analyzing the current market situation in Serbia, Drakulić notes that he is not against foreign investments, but those that, he says, will bring something to Serbia. He claims that foreign investors took one billion and 400 million out of Serbia last year, and no one has ever calculated what was brought to Serbia.
"For example, we are told that we have lithium worth billions, and then a woman from Rio Tinto says that Serbia will receive 180 million euros annually. Do we want to destroy the country for 180 million?" What do we get from Bor, what from Smederevo, except that they poison us ecologically? They suddenly accelerated something, they also extract copper, concentrate, ore, I don't know where they are in a hurry to finish some things?", he asks.
Businessmen, he says, do not have any communication with the authorities.
62 of the largest businessmen in Serbia, at least 30 percent of the Serbian economy, are members of the "Privrednik" Club, he describes.
"We don't have any communication, are they afraid because I have no problem saying some things." I believe that Serbia can live much better despite this kind of theft. This kind of corruption does not exist in the world. Well, let them steal, as Velja Ilić says, but they shouldn't. "Let Serbia live a little better," he says.
"No one asks us anything"
Domestic businessmen, he says, are "horribly neglected".
"There is no official communication because we cannot make our proposals." Nobody asks us anything. Do we have to sell Serbian wind and sun to foreigners? You can't get permission to put panels on roofs and generate energy. Is it necessary to bring foreigners for that?" he asks.
This year, he says, businessmen received different electricity prices within four weeks. Some, he explains, got the same electricity prices, others a few percent more.
"On what basis is the price of electricity formed, on what basis is it based?" We wrote to EPS, the Minister of Energy is an untouchable woman who does not communicate with us. They destroyed green energy in Serbia. "For four and a half months, 90 pellet factories are not working, because someone is 'pushing gas' that will be banned in Europe in 2028. And now we have to justify that we store gas in Hungary," he said.
