What is the "Vista rika" investment fund close to the government, why is the regime harassing Danijela Maletić and who are its most famous investors?
Danijela Maletic, former assistant director of the Directorate for the Prevention of Money Laundering at the Ministry of Finance, told in "Impression of the Week" how the police arrested for getting too close to the dubious "Vista Rika" fund led by persons close to the regime. She was investigating the fund when the officers of the Administration were informed that a natural person came to the bank - and withdrew a million euros from his account, and then transferred part of that money to "Vista Rika" Fund.
Among those who paid money into the account of this Fund are the brothers of the country's political elite - Igor Brnabić, Predrag Mali and Andrej Vučić. The fund also received payments from the "new business elite" - Ostoja Mijailović, Davor Matura, Ivan Bošnjak, Dragoljub Zbiljić, Batrić Radunović, Siniša Narić, Manojlo Mandrapa, Aleksandar Galić.
The founders and owners of the Fund are high officials of SNS, close to the top of the state, as well as most of the clients, and investigators in Serbia have also taken an interest in them, "Radar" unofficially learned. Some of these payments are under scrutiny due to suspicions that they are "laundering" money.
What is "Vista Rika"?
Open alternative investment funds (AIF) in Serbia have increased significantly property last year. The four largest AIFs were worth almost 133,2 million euros at the beginning of 2025, and 230 million on December 31. Of these funds, Vista Rica Invest grew the most, which is not connected to any bank, but to - the ruling party.
The value of this fund at the beginning of 2025 was 27,2 million euros, and at the end it was 57,4 million. This means that the net assets of the fund increased by as much as 30.219.877 euros, more than the funds managed by the big banks Intesa and Raiffeissen. For the "Vista Rica" fund, this represents a growth of more than 100 percent.
The Vista Rica Corporate fund also grew, which was worth 15,9 million euros at the beginning of last year 2025, and 26,9 million at the end.
The Vista Rica Invest and Vista Rica Corporate funds were founded by Vojislav Nedić, the father of the former Secretary General of the Government of Serbia, Novak Nedić, and Tatjana Vukić, the manager of the Foundation "For the Serbian People and the State" and Andrej Vučić's partner, as BIRN wrote.
"Radar" also announced that 12,8 million euros was paid into the fund as a natural person by the owner of the company Galens Aleksandar Galić, best known for the project known in the public as "Novi Sad na Vodi".
For example, if a rich citizen needs to pay a million euros in taxes, according to this law, even 500.000 can be diverted to the fund, instead of filling the state coffers.
And that's not all. The law also left room for abuse.
A wealthy taxpayer can transfer his tax debt to the fund in December and then withdraw the same amount from the fund account in January of the following year. In this way, he formally complied with the income tax law, but kept most of the money.
It was this legal amendment that enabled alternative investment funds in Serbia to attract new clients eager to reduce their tax obligations.

There is, literally, no difference between the one who claims it is day in the middle of the night, or the one who claims to be a giraffe, from the claims we read on billboards: that Vučić is working to unify Serbs and that Serbia is doing better and better day by day.
The pre-election arrests due to the alleged "overthrow of the state" testify to the regime's panic. The bad news for them is - they can't arrest the whole people who decided to defend themselves from progressive beatings and election theft
