At the beginning of 2026, news broke that the police were in Konjuh near Kruševac seized five tons of marijuana. The audience's curiosity was also tickled by the fact that the owner was delusional warehouse where "vutra" was located Rade Spasojević, president of the local community and member of SNS. Five months later, the Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime (TOK) announced on Wednesday, July 22, that it filed an indictment against six people who are accused of being part of a criminal group that illegally traded drugs in Serbia and North Macedonia, and which at one point ended up in Konjuh.

Who is accused and what is he accused of?
The defendants are Aleksandar Mijajlović as organizer, Ivan Dragnić as co-organizer, Nebojša Spasojević, Rade Spasojević, Uroš Miladenovski and Robert Živković.
TOK alleges that they abused the company Alfafarm Grupa from Skopje, which had licenses from North Macedonia for the cultivation of medical cannabis and the production of cannabis extracts for medical purposes, in order to conceal the procurement, storage and transportation of large quantities of marijuana.
In November 2025, the suspected six organized the purchase of almost nine tons of dried cannabis flower from CBD Med Plant supplier Strumica. The drug was stored in the premises of Alfafarm, where it was prepared for further transport. In order to conceal the actual content of the goods in international transport, documentation related to the export of textile goods was used.
Drug repackaging and distribution
The defendants are accused of transporting almost five tons of the drug to Serbia and storing it in residential and business facilities used by the defendants Nebojša and Rade Spasojević in Konjuh, where the drug was further repackaged and prepared for distribution.
Robert Živković is accused of directly managing the activities related to the storage, packaging control and organization of the drug transport, as well as supervising its unloading and storage in Serbia, while Nebojša and Rade Spasojević ensured the reception, storage, repackaging and further transport of the narcotic drug.
On January 24, 2026, Uroš Mladenovski took about 100 kilograms of marijuana from Spasojević's warehouse and transported it to the territory of New Belgrade, where he was arrested.

Automatic weapon and rocket launcher
During the search of the premises used by the Spasojević family, a large amount of automatic firearms, ammunition, as well as a manual rocket launcher "zolja" were found, so Nebojša Spasojević is also charged with illegal possession of weapons and explosive materials.

The defendants Ivan Dragnić, Nebojša Spasojević, Rade Spasojević and Uroš Mladenovski are in custody, and the indictment suggested that their detention be extended, while Robert Živković is on the run, so he was detained and ordered to issue a warrant.
Aleksandar Mijailović was arrested on an international warrant on July 1 in Austria, and the decision on Serbia's request for his extradition is ongoing. Proceedings are being conducted before the authorities of North Macedonia in relation to other persons who are suspected of having participated in the procurement, storage, packaging and transportation of drugs.
Where does Bata Gašić come from in this story?
Rade Spasojević, a progressive, is allegedly very close to the Minister of Defense Bratislav Gašić, "Vreme" previously wrote. The Gašić family is from Kruševac and a large number of photographs show that they often met and contacted the arrested Spasojević.
Although according to the function, it is not foreseen that the Minister of Defense will announce the seizure of drugs, it still happened. Although Gašić was never heard on that occasion, the inspectors who arrested Predrag Koluvija, co-owner of the Jovanjic estate and suspected of being the leader of an organized criminal group, stated that it was Gasić who was in contact with Koluvija very often.
