The Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina proposed in the indictment against the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, that, if he is convicted, he should be banned from holding any public office that is fully or partially financed from public funds.
It was also proposed that Miloš Lukić, the director of the Official Gazette of the RS, be banned from holding that, as well as any other public function. RTRS reports.
"The suspects should be banned from holding office for a period of ten years", it was stated in the proposal sent by the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. it says N1 Sarajevo.

According to the indictment, Dodik and Lukić are charged with the criminal offense of failure to execute the decision of the High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"Dodik, by signing the Decree on the Promulgation of the Law on Amendments to the Law on the Publication of Laws and Other Regulations in the Republic of Srpska, knowingly violated the decision of the High Representative, even though he was aware that his decisions were binding in BiH, in accordance with the powers given to him by Annex 10 of the Dayton Agreement," the indictment reads.
It is also stated that "his goal was that the decisions of the High Representative were not implemented and implemented, because the implementation of those decisions required abstention from further legislative action."
Who knows whose quasi-court
After this, Dodik appeared on the X network and said that the confirmation of the indictment against him was good news.
"I am accused of the criminal offense of not implementing the decisions of the high representative." In order to judge me, they will have to prove that Christian Schmidt is what he claims to be and that he can impose laws," wrote Dodik and emphasized that "they will have to present the appointment decision" so that the public can see "who signed that decision and on what basis".
The President of Republika Srpska assessed that this will be an "excellent opportunity" for the Court to show whether it is a court of Bosnia and Herzegovina or a "quasi-court of who knows whose".
"If it is the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina," he adds, "then it must act according to the laws adopted by the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as the only one constitutionally authorized to enact laws."
All the suffering of Christian Schmidt
A few hours after responding to the Prosecution's proposal, Dodik wrote another post addressed to Schmidt, saying that the only "barricade" for him to come to the RS is that of the UN Security Council.

"Although Schmidt intended to come to Republika Srpska, he had no one to come to." In Srpska, Šmit has no one to tell that he is a high representative when everyone knows that he is not. He is the only one who made a show out of yesterday's unrealized visit," says Dodik about the meeting between Šmit and RS Vice President Ćamilo Duraković, which was canceled for unknown reasons.
He concludes that the canceled visit was in fact a "directed performance", but also that the high representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina "also directed the tickets for it" which "no one wanted to buy" in the Republika Srpska.
"That's all Christian Schmidt's pain," Dodik wrote.
