Students in the blockade shared the program at a gathering in Belgrade on Friday electoral lists and revealed what they stand for and what their conditions are for the candidates on their list, the portal Nova.rs reports.
The students stated in their program that they are fighting for:
Fulfillment of all student requirements
Student demands, at their core based on the principles of a fair society, must not be covered up and ignored. Their non-fulfilment, which is influenced by the current government, is proof of the dysfunctionality of the institutions.
Freedom of the media
Realizing the constitutional rights of citizens to complete, truthful and timely reporting on everything that is in the public interest. Provisions regarding the composition of the Council, management and governance of REM must be applied. The media are obliged to report impartially.
Free and fair elections
Complete revision of voter lists, absence of coercion and intimidation of voters, prevention and sanctioning of any abuse of voting rights. The functioning of all institutions responsible for the organization and control of elections must be enabled.
Independent and efficient judiciary and prosecution
The judiciary and the prosecution are under political influence, and it is necessary to replace those responsible, to appoint professional staff, as well as to introduce a special prosecution institute for public officials.
A country without corruption and organized crime
Internal control of the police and security services should be strengthened. Urgently block all flows and money laundering obtained through corruption and crime, also publish all commercial contracts of the state with foreign and domestic investors.
Public enterprises and projects
It is necessary to strictly apply the regulations governing public procurement, to stop the practice favored by certain companies. In the interest of the general interest, it is necessary to keep key infrastructure companies in state ownership.
Safety of construction objects and traffic lights
Due to non-compliance with procedures and rules to the detriment of the quality and safety of buildings and roads, an independent emergency check of all significant construction projects implemented in recent years is necessary.
Management of mineral resources and environmental protection
We need a strategy for managing mineral and other resources in accordance with environmental, social, economic and regional aspects. Stop all projects, such as the "Jadar" project, which threaten long-term social interests through exploitation. It is necessary to review the urban policy and increase the number of green areas.
Agriculture
We need the improvement of agricultural production and the encouragement of the initiative of individual producers, as well as the implementation of departmentalization in subsidizing production.
Education
Social awareness of the importance of educators must be raised through better working conditions, economic status, and adequate support and recognition of their contribution to the community.
Science
Scientific and research work must become the foundation of social and economic development. This requires a long-term systemic investment in science, restoring the reputation of the scientific community and ensuring institutional independence.
Culture
culture is the foundation of society. We must build monuments of knowledge and art, invest in creators of intangible heritage.
Health protection
Larger and more effective investments in the public health system, occupational safety, health promotion and disease prevention are necessary, along with appropriate regulation of the private sector. Patients' rights and professional ethics must be respected, while preventing corruption and ensuring a safe environment within healthcare institutions.
Local government
It is the duty of every citizen to take part in public life and participate in making decisions that concern the welfare of all of us through political emancipation, mechanisms of direct democracy such as citizens' assemblies, local referendums and popular initiative.
Student organizing
The existing structures do not enjoy the trust of students due to lack of transparency, tendency to corruption and ineffective representation of students' interests. We must work on different systems that, like the plenum, enable organizing through direct democracy.
Labor issues
It is necessary to strive towards the realization of workers' demands through amendments to the Labor Law and the Law on Strikes. All authorities of the Republic of Serbia must work to strengthen labor legislation and respect it. The minimum wage is low compared to the cost of living and it is evident that it must be increased.
National interest
The international position must be subordinated to the interests of the state and citizens. The key values on which the future foreign policy will be based are the preservation of sovereignty and territorial integrity, respect for human and minority rights, economic development of the state, transparency, peaceful settlement of disputes and military neutrality.
The blocked students also announced the qualification criteria for selecting candidates for the list:

– He must not be a student!

- He was never an official of the parliamentary opposition
