President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić he said on Tuesday that Serbia, due to Jared Kushner abandoning the construction of a hotel on the site General Staff lost an investment worth "at least 750 million euros" announced that he would personally file criminal charges against all those who participated "in the hunt for the destruction" of that investment.
"The campaign against the General Staff is starting as a campaign to support the blockade chase against people who are responsible and seriously did their job, because it is necessary to denigrate everything, it is necessary to destroy everything, the worst to make them better, to destroy Serbia, leave it without investors, leave it without electricity, leave it without wages, carry out general strikes and everything else, so that Serbia disappears from the map of successful countries," said Vučić.
He pointed out that he would personally file criminal charges against all those who, as he said, participated in the pursuit to destroy this investments.
Criminal charges will be filed against "everyone in the police, prosecutor's office, as well as all other persons who contributed to the collapse and economic undermining of the Republic of Serbia."
He added that the talk about the General Staff is only becoming an affair today.
"Unfortunately for the state and the people - we are big losers. We lost an exceptional investment of 750 million euros, minimum. The total property damage that the blockaders and prosecution they made no less than 1,5 billion in different ways," said Vučić.
He assessed that "Serbia is being talked about badly today, because someone is saying that it was a bad project."
"One smaller or I don't know how bad project, which was hastily concluded, in Albania received a lot of attention and will get great publicity, because the entire Trump family will praise the project. "Some peoples are obviously more ready to understand the decisions of their leadership than our people," said Vučić, and then disclaimed that he was not referring to the majority of the people.
According to his opinion, "Serbia was inflicted with enormous damage."
"We will now have one collapsed building in the city center, it's just a question of when bricks and stones will start falling from it, because no one will want to touch it anymore. For us, an investment of 750 million euros in such a small area, with the creation of hundreds of jobs during the construction of thousands of people who would work and build - is terribly difficult and bad news. It shows that we, Serbs, masters of missed opportunities, that we never wanted to understand anything in an objective and rational way, but only to make a cow to my neighbor and my opponent in any way", said Vučić.
