First regular session parliament in 2026 is scheduled for Wednesday (April 15) and it will be debated on no confidence To the Government of Serbia.
The President of the National Assembly of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, called the session with that, the only item on the agenda, it was announced from her cabinet.
The proposal for a vote of no confidence in the Government was submitted in mid-February by 62 MPs from the ranks of the opposition.
The reason, as stated at the time, is the General Staff affair and the claim that certain ministers participated in illegal decisions regarding the removal of protection from the building, and that, despite this, Prime Minister Đuro Macut did not replace them.
Also scheduled for the same day is new hearing to the Minister of Culture Nikola Selaković, accused in the General Staff case.
The session starts at 11 a.m., and a meeting of the Collegium of the National Assembly was previously called for 10 a.m.
