The Assembly adopted amendments to judicial laws

The Serbian Parliament adopted amendments to five judicial laws, which were re-submitted to the procedure after the original decisions from January were reviewed and harmonized with the recommendations of the Venice Commission. At the same time, MPs also voted on several laws in the fields of health, housing policy, energy and international financial agreements

Venice Commission: Serbia implemented seven out of nine recommendations, two key ones are still pending

In a subsequent opinion on changes to judicial laws, known as the "Mrdić Laws", the Venice Commission assessed that Serbia had implemented seven of the nine recommendations, but that two key areas - the position of prosecutors in the Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime and the autonomy of the Department for High-Tech Crime - were not yet fully regulated.

Peđa Mitrović: Misuse of the tragedy at the Philosophical University for the sake of the regime's attack on the University

The girl's lifeless body was found on Thursday evening on the plateau in front of the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade. Ana Brnabić scheduled an emergency session of the Parliamentary Committee for Education.
