Milan Jaćimović, Son of a carrier Milomir Jaćimović, who was subjected to torture several times because he transported students and supports the student movement, announced today that he will join the hunger strike which, as he announced, will his father started on Monday 10 November.
Milomir Jaćimović said on that occasion that he had no other choice because his buses were confiscated, and the fines were in the millions.

"They killed me - I'm dead. I'm not a doo, but a carrier and I guarantee with my movable and immovable property. And if I were to sell everything I have, the question is whether I could pay all those fines," he said.
He added that it is especially difficult for him because his son will also go on hunger strike.
"I cannot answer him. They will strike together with me. We will see what will happen. We will go to the end and there will be no stopping," said Jaćimović.
He states that he has two demands - that the buses be returned to him and that the fines, which he says were unjustified, be canceled.
Citizen support
Citizens and students of Novi Sad today organized a protest in support of Jaćimović at the intersection of Bulevar oslobođenja and Pavla Papa, and students in the blockade of Novi Sad faculties called for the rally, portal 021 reported.
Those gathered stood in front of the Novi Sad Police Department and on the road, so the intersection was blocked for traffic. By 16 p.m., traffic and bus station platforms were blocked. "If he can't drive, neither can others," they commented.
In previous months, Jaćimović transported students and citizens to protests for free. He was detained several times, and his buses were taken away, which, as he emphasizes, prevented him from working and earning a living.
As a reminder, he was detained in Žablje on Friday for "disturbing public order and peace". On November 5, two vehicles were confiscated from Jaćimović - a bus and a minibus. The first vehicle was confiscated by the police due to an alleged technical failure, defective left light and upper wiper, while on the same day, the minibus he used to transport passengers to the protest in Belgrade was confiscated.
There are currently only two buses left in his fleet that are not in driving condition, because they were previously damaged - broken windshields and cut tires, which, according to his claims, is the result of vandalism by unknown persons. One of those buses is currently parked in front of the municipal building.
