The Vice-President of the People's Party, Miroslav Aleksić, stated that certain structures in the MUP "put Inspector Slobodan Milenkovic on the kill list" because of the "Jovanjic" case, and that there is a possibility that they were involved in the liquidation plan, and that is why they did not react when Milenkovic reported to them that his life was in danger.
"They are stunning." information we heard from Milenkovic's lawyer Zdenko Tomanovic. First of all, I mean that eight months have passed since he officially reported to the competent authorities that his life is in danger and that his liquidation is being prepared, and that there is no answer to this day," Aleksić told the newspaper "Nova".
As reported by the People's Party, Aleksić is quite clear that the top government in Serbia is ready to crush the "Jovanjic" case at any cost, and that the prerequisite for this is to crush Inspector Milenkovic and his colleague Dušan Mitić.
And further: in the case of inspector Milenkovic, whether we will have a state and whether it will be managed by drug cartels or institutions is also being questioned, because inspector Milenkovic "represents an institution", so without such people, "drug cartels would take all the power in the state".
Asked whether the People's Party will respond to the invitation of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić for consultations on the formation of a new government, Aleksić said that the party's parliamentary group will respond if it receives an official invitation. "We will talk and participate in consultations with him and others, but within the framework of state institutions, legal and constitutional powers of those who exercise power at the moment."
