He also stated that it should be taken into account that "the regime has its reasons for favoring the opposition parties at the expense of the student list".

He assessed that the election result could have a decisive effect on the behavior of political actors in the post-election period, as well as that the relatively convincing victory of the "party challenging the government" significantly reduces the possibility of contesting the outcome of the vote.

"A relatively convincing election victory, of, for example, a five percent difference for the anti-regime side, significantly reduces the possibility of contestation. This would allow the regime to hesitate a lot in case it is ready to apply some measures of repression, provocation, criminal acts and the like, which it is normally inclined to do," said Lompar.
