A large number of comments were collected by Vučić on TikTok, among which the most common was "add baka", alluding to the influencer Bogdan Ilic, better known as Baka Prase, whose candidacy for the mayor of Belgrade was discussed in the media in recent days, and who was later invited to join the broadcast.
Vučić said that he speaks through TikTok primarily to talk to young people. He added that he's been warned not to talk on TikTok because of the insults, adding: "And now I'm talking to myself like crazy."
Target group
However, Baku Praset is not followed by young politically active people, but by children up to 12, and a maximum of 15 years. He said that he was open to include any expert in the broadcast, so that he could talk to dissenters, to which he received the answer that there were technical problems and that the application did not allow it.
Youtuber Bogdan Ilić (Baka Prase) joined the "live" broadcast via phone call and asked the president questions. He asked the president if he thought he would be a better mayor of Belgrade than the current mayor Aleksandar Šapić, to which Vučić replied that his opinion on the matter was not important.
On that occasion, Ilić referred to his conflict with Željko Mitrović, which was the reason for shutting down his channels, after which Vučić told him that Mitrović was his close friend and that he believed Ilić acted wrongly in that case.
In a conversation with the team behind the camera, the president was presented with the statistics of the "live" broadcast, after which he asked them if they had bought bot accounts.
Insults to pregnant women
The influencer has a not-so-bright biography behind him.
For months, Bogdan Ilić, known as Baka Prase, publicly expressed insults and untruths about the influencer Tina Cakić. After Tina denied his claims, there followed a period of intermittent public attacks that repeated and escalated while she was eight months into a high-risk pregnancy. At the same time, she was exposed to a wave of hate messages, insults and threats, including threats to her, her family and her unborn child, the Association for the Empowerment and Development of Citizens OsnaZena announced.
"Soon after the escalation, Tina had a premature birth and an emergency caesarean section, she spent about 12 hours in a post-anesthesia coma, while the child was born with the consequences of a lack of oxygen and will have to undergo heart surgery in the future. The harassment and threats did not stop even after the birth," added the Association. "This case shows that cyberbullying does not stay "online" and has real, serious consequences.
