Za voting u abroad in the parliamentary elections in Serbia, scheduled for October 25, 102.147 voters were registered at 93 polling stations, which is more than double compared to the previous elections in 2023, announced Contemporary Politics.
The most voters were registered in Germany, 20.107, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, 19.800. They are followed by Austria with 10.484 voters, the United States of America with 5.750, Italy with 4.901, Switzerland with 4.585, Slovenia with 3.878 and France with 3.023.
According to data from the website upit.birackispisak.gov.rs, maintained by the Ministry of State Administration and Local Self-Government, the number of registered voters has increased significantly in most countries compared to the 2023 elections.
In Germany, the number of registered voters increased from slightly more than 6.000 to 20.107, while in Austria it increased from slightly less than 4.000 to 10.484. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, 19.800 voters were registered, compared to around 13.000 in the previous elections, and the number of polling stations increased by ten. Two new polling stations were opened in Germany, so now there are eight in total.

In Stuttgart, the largest polling station
The largest polling station in Germany is located in Stuttgart and includes voters from surrounding towns. More than 4.000 voters were registered for it, while more than 2.000 people want to exercise their right to vote in six of the eight polling stations in that country.
A large increase in the number of registered voters was also recorded in the Scandinavian countries. In Sweden, 2.465 voters were registered, compared to 520 in the previous election, while in Norway the number increased from 455 to 2.352.
In Montenegro, 2.872 voters were registered, compared to 1.166 in the 2023 elections. In North Macedonia, 1.438 voters were registered, and in Croatia, 1.231. In Great Britain, 2.204 people registered their right to vote abroad, in the Netherlands 1.934, and in Spain 1.882.
In the Czech Republic, 1.117 voters have registered, while no polling station will be opened in Slovakia. For the first time in Australia, two polling stations will be opened, where a total of 1.014 registered voters will be able to vote. Polling stations will not be open in Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey, unlike the previous elections.
In other countries, less than 1.000 voters were registered. There are 957 of them in Belgium, in Greece 783, in Russia 650, in Denmark 630, in China 551, in Cyprus 523, in Portugal 423, in Hungary 394, in Luxembourg 317, in New Zealand 291, in Ireland 260, in Poland 253, in Finland 223, in Japan 194, in the Republic of South Africa 179, in Indonesia 162, and in Brazil 138, according to Contemporary Politics.
