South Of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued an order to issue an international warrant for Ranko Grab, because he did not appear at the trials, Sarajevo portal "Detektor" writes.
Grabo did not even appear at the hearing in early May, when closing arguments were scheduled. At that time, the chairperson of the Judicial Council, Lejka Konjić Dragović, said that the police did not find the accused at the address on May 4 and that his wife told them that Grabo was undergoing treatment in Serbia.
The court stated that Ranko Grabo violated the prohibition measures, and the prosecution in Bosnia and Herzegovina proposed the announcement international warrants and ordering detention.
At the hearing in November 2025, medical experts determined that Grab is capable of attending trials, "Detektor" reports.
Ranko Grab was charged in a case in which ten men were already sentenced to a total of 162 years in prison for crimes committed against Bosniak civilians in June 1992 in the villages of Alići and Ekići near Novi Grad, but the proceedings against him were separated due to his health condition.
