Closed cinemas due to the corona pandemic, difficult work of the Film Center of Serbia due to the absence of the Board of Directors, the war in Ukraine and various political disadvantages did not prevent the domestic film from being awarded and, what is more unusual in the mentioned conditions, from a record viewing not only in Serbia.
In Croatia, Serbian films Thomas i South wind last year they were at the top of the ratings, with Grandma and other blockbusters. They surpassed even Croatian films.

Somehow he came to Croatia at the same time South wind 2 – Acceleration Miloš Avramović and also broke all records: in a month and a half, 113.000 viewers saw it, which is an absolute record for a Serbian film.
In Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina That's it was seen by 700.000 viewers in a month and a half, the same as South wind in the region.
In Serbia, the share of domestic films in the total viewership in cinemas last year was 39 percent. In Europe, that percentage is higher only in France, so it should be noted that this is a record viewership for domestic films. Let us remind you that due to the corona virus, cinemas in Serbia were only opened at the beginning of March last year.
Of the fifteen films produced annually, eight reach the world's biggest festivals, which is also a great achievement.
