Protest of educators: We are fighting for our dignity

Several hundred educators protested in front of the Government of Serbia today. They demanded better pay and working conditions. Mathematics, chemistry, biology teachers, male and female teachers blocked traffic in front of the Government of Serbia for one hour. It is expected that the negotiations with the Government will continue before October 9, when the start of the school strike was announced

Educators' strike: The disunited uprising of the despised in Serbia

Exactly three years ago today, the strike of educators in Croatia ended when all their demands related to salary increases and a plan against violence in schools were met. How? By protesting unitedly for 36 days straight. Our demoted educators have every right in the world to strike, but they do so in a disunited manner with a visible lack of solidarity - both within the profession and in society.
