Black Friday: The world's most expensive savings

The shopping fever on the day of "Black Friday" grips the whole world. A few decades ago, it also made its home in Serbia. However, world rules do not apply on home soil. Traders in Serbia have copied the American trend, but in our region the discounts are much smaller. And while people queue for miles to buy bargains to brighten their day in the short term, the workers who produce those same goods in Bangladesh are dying in the streets as they protest for an increase in their $95 a month wages.

Starting today, applying for student cards: New discounts or old tricks

Starting today, around 240.000 students in Serbia can apply for new student cards. Finance Minister Siniša Mali said that they bring numerous discounts, benefits and conveniences. Students say that the ultimate goal is for these cards to replace the index, and some argue that it is a "cheap attempt to smear the eyes" of students' parents and that the card is not a revolutionary solution
