One after the other, the defense attorneys, Koluvija, as well as the prosecutor, tried to challenge the testimony of inspector Dušan Mitić, who said that his and his colleagues' intention was to arrest the then director of the BIA, and the current minister of police, Bratislava Gašić and Mirko Šker (head of the Belgrade center in the BIA at the time of the discovery of Jovanjica), and that the information about their involvement in the case of "Jovanjica" was "of the highest quality". As Mitić pointed out, the head of the Fourth Department, Slobodan Milenkovic, asked the prosecutor's office to prosecute Škero and Gasić, after which frequent pressures began.
