Deputies of the European Parliament again next week, during the session in Strasbourg, they will discuss the vote of no confidence in the president of the European Commission Ursuli of the Lajen, at the request of the parliamentary group Patriots for Europe, because of the trade agreement with Latin American countries.
Ursula Von der Leyen has decided not to attend the debate on the vote of no confidence, but will be represented by European Trade Commissioner Maros Šefčovič, according to the Politiko portal.
The vote, which is believed to be unsuccessful, is scheduled for Thursday.
During the previous no-confidence motions, Ursula von der Leyen was present in the parliament with her 26 commissioners, in order to show unity.
This time the message is different and the European Commission is "not playing anymore", because that instrument of the parliamentary struggle was already used three times last year and failed all three times.
