Croatian singer-songwriter Darko Rundek he held a half-hour concert in Knez Mihailova Street and once again supported the students in Serbia in their struggle.
Rundek said he was amazed by everything students work and how he is pleased that some of his songs are used at protests in Serbia, and then he sang the lyrics "We are against the oppressors and their helpers" and the song "Ay Carmela" that marked every student protest.
Rundek performed in the company of saxophonist Ana Kovačić.
March 2025. Rundek joined the crowd at Studentski trg in Belgrade and paid tribute to the victims of the fall of the railway station canopy in Novi Sad.
"A while ago, I was standing in Student Square in Belgrade. If people all over the world stopped for 16 minutes at the same time, felt their own existence, unity with others, the space and life of all beings on this planet and in the universe, to which they belong, the world would change significantly," Rundek announced on Instagram at the time.
