Entrepreneur Dejan Mitov, who owns the spatial design studio Modelart architects, received a job worth 11,97 million dinars without VAT (about 100.000 euros) related to the creation and servicing of models for the exhibition. EXPO 2027, he writes New economy.
Company Expo 2027 Ltd. is the customer of this work, and the estimated value of the purchase was 12 million dinars without VAT.
Given that it is a special type of public procurement procedure that is subject to the Law on Special Procedures for the realization of the international specialized exhibition EXPO BELGRADE 2027, better known as Lex specialis, offers were sent to the addresses of three companies.
One of them was the company "Spatial Design Studio Modelart Architects", which got the job.
"After the review, computer control and expert evaluation of the offer, the Procurement Commission concluded that the bidder submitted an acceptable offer," the decision on awarding the contract states.
This company was founded in 2013 for specialized design activities and the owner of the company is Dejan Mitov.
The company had 18 employees in 2023 and a business income of 1,49 million euros.
On the website of this company, it is stated that their portfolio includes many realized residential and commercial spaces, architectural models, spatial installations and furniture.
"In addition to architectural design and interior design, the specificity of our studio is the interweaving of design and execution. In the workshop, as an integral part of the studio, we deal with digital design and fabrication, as well as the creation of architectural models," the website states.
Until now, it is known that this company made a portable model for Bio4 Campus worth 1,34 million dinars.
Also, the company equipped the National Museum of Basketball in ฤaฤak with accompanying works and received slightly more than 18 million dinars for that.
