Remembering Youth Day: Hundreds of people in a parade in the House of Flowers

Hundreds of people from the former Yugoslavia on Sunday it is at the House of Flowers in passing paid tribute to the former president for life of the Socialist Federal Republic Yugoslavia (SFRY) Josip Broz Tito on the occasion of May 25, which was celebrated in the country at that time as a common national holiday - Youth Day.

Numerous admirers of Tito, delegations from the Union of Associations of Fighters of the National Liberation War (SUBNOR), associations and organizations that inherit the memory of NOB and Tito, have been gathering since morning on the plateau in front of the Museum of Yugoslavia, part of which is also the House of Flowers, Tito's final resting place.

Many of them wear flags of the former SFRY and the Union of Communists of Yugoslavia, "Titovka" caps, badges with Tito's image or signature, decorations and decorations of the former Yugoslavia.

Thousands of people from the former Yugoslavia visit the Josip Broz Tito Memorial Center and the House of Flowers every year on the day of his death on May 4 and May 25, when his birthday, or Youth Day, was celebrated in the former Yugoslavia.

Tito's name, apart from the partisan movement and the anti-fascist struggle that had a decisive influence on the formation and existence of the former SFRY during the Second World War, is also associated with the founding of the Non-Aligned Movement, which brought together the countries of the third world and was a self-righteous balance between East and West.

Tito's funeral in Belgrade on May 8, 1980 was attended by more than 200 heads of state or government and high-level delegations from as many as 127 countries around the world.

Since 1980, according to available official data, the House of Flowers has been visited by more than 17 million people, including many tourists from Western Europe and America, and more and more visitors from Asian countries - China, Japan, South Korea and Vietnam.
