Hungarian said in a post on Facebook that this agreement was reached in discussions with the chief executive officer MOL of the oil and gas group by Zolto Hernadi, MTI agency reported.
"MOL has confirmed that uninterrupted fuel supply to Hungary will be guaranteed, even amid turbulent conditions in the global market," the Hungarian said.
The Hungarian added that he also discussed with Hernadi about the dividend of 25 billion forints, ie 68,7 million euros, which MOL planned to pay to Collegium Matthias Corvinus.
He also wrote that he was calling on Acting Prime Minister Viktor Orbán to extend the outgoing government's decree on fuel excise cuts, which expires on April 30, so that they remain in place until the end of May.
According to the latest price list as of today, April 17, one liter of diesel in Serbia costs 217 dinars, which is three dinars more expensive than two weeks ago.
Gasoline has risen in price by two dinars compared to the prices from the beginning of April, and now one liter of this fuel costs 191 dinars.
The new fuel prices will be valid until Friday, April 24, and compared to the previous week, fuel prices are unchanged.
On the other hand, the price of diesel in Hungary, according to the April 13 price list, is about 196 dinars. A much smaller price difference can be seen with gasoline, where in Hungary it is around 190 dinars per liter.
Of the surrounding countries, gasoline is more expensive only in Romania, and it is the most affordable in North Macedonia, where the price per liter is 24 percent lower than in Serbia.
For diesel, the difference is even greater, so on average a liter of this fuel is more than 30 percent more expensive in Serbia than in its southern neighbor.
According to data from the International Road Transport Union (IRU), diesel prices in Serbia have exceeded prices in all countries of the region for years.
