YouTuber Bogdan Ilić, better known as Baka Prase, i Aleksandar Vučić's newest friend on social networks he does not recognize, he says, the racketeers who allegedly set fire to his luxury Brabus car worth around 500.000 euros. He posted a photo of his middle finger on Instagram, after the police arrested a suspect for causing public danger and extortion. This case was immediately taken over by the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, and a possible reclassification of the criminal offense is under consideration.
Granny Pig revealed that this is not his only overpriced car, but that another vehicle worth 700.000 euros was destroyed, but that it was not the same perpetrators who caused the damage - but that it happened during the accident.
The influencer, who now has a serious background in the regime and whom Vučić is trying to use to attract younger voters, got rich playing professional games for money after failing to enter a music academy. In 2015, together with members of the Serbian national team, Ilić won the gaming title in South Korea. He monetized his musical talent by posting songs on YouTube.
Manifests the mayor's chair
When they will be held in 2028, according to the regular schedule, or earlier local elections in the capital, among the candidates for mayor could be Granny Pig.
The star of challenges, scandals and viral clips, a man with a serious number of followers and big ambitions, Ilić announced at the beginning of the year that "manifests" his future function as the first man of the capital. So serious that it has been in his Instagram profile description for some time now.
With more than 1,7 million followers on Instagram and a career that has spanned music, Internet wars, and deleting a YouTube channel with more than two and a half million followers, Granny Pig is now entering the statesman-in-the-making phase.
The slogan of the campaign is already ready: "Grandma Pig for our grandchildren", because, he says, he will do so much that future generations will be grateful to him. Along with that comes the idea that instead of Stefan Nemanja, his statue should be erected in the center of Belgrade, because, as he says, he will deserve it with his deeds.
He claims that he would finance the campaign from his own pocket, although soon businessman Branko Babić, who became famous for drawing eyebrows, came forward and was ready to pay for such a campaign. In the video at the table full of cash, he said that he knew someone else who would finance the campaign. If Baka wins, a special bottle of Petrus is opened to celebrate the new era of Belgrade politics.
Who is Granny Pig: From gamer to public figure under tabloid investigation
Bogdan Ilić, born in 1996, started his career as a gamer and YouTuber, and eventually grew into one of the most visible, but also the most controversial internet figures in Serbia and the region.
He became famous for his content intended primarily for teenagers, a combination of provocation, self-promotion and public confrontations with colleagues, former partners and occasionally institutions.
His name is associated with a number of controversies, from accusations of misogyny and hate speech, through conflicts with other influencers, to campaigns against the media and critics.
It has been repeatedly linked to the Leviathan movement, a right-wing organization known for its aggressive performance, nationalist rhetoric and self-proclaimed "patrols" that have been the subject of police and court chronicles for years.
Baka Prase publicly expressed sympathy for their activities, appeared as a guest in content close to that circle and defended their actions, presenting them as fighters for order and justice. Later, he formally distanced himself from this movement, explaining that he does not belong to any political option.
On a Space on the X network, Ilić now talked about his ambitions together with Pavlo Bihali, the founder of Leviathan. Bihali participated in elections before, and in a recently released recording, it was heard that he was a "Ker" of the authorities.
Until the Belgrade elections, there will be a maximum of two more years to wait, and maybe Baka's manifestation of joining the assembly live in a suit, in some universe, will come true.
