Serbian Prime Minister resigns Milos Vucevic on Tuesday, he asked the Ministry of Education and competent local self-government units to give students of the University of Belgrade, who travel by foot to Kragujevac, provide accommodation in facilities under their jurisdiction.
"Taking into account the low outside temperature, which drops further at night, and above all taking into account the safety and health of the students, it is our common duty to provide them with accommodation where possible," said Vučević, and the Government of Serbia announced.
"Without going into the reasons for the students' protest, I cannot imagine that anyone's child is freezing at these temperatures, and what I don't want for my own, I don't want for someone else's child either," said Vučević.
He asked local self-government units to provide accommodation for students where possible.
