As they said in the Movement of Free Citizens, Mladen Cvijetić, Davor Stefanović and Srđan Đurić are still waiting for the decision to abolish house arrest.
The trial of 12 Novi Sad students and activists of the STAV and Movement of Free Citizens (PSG) groups from Novi Sad has been scheduled for November 24 this year, six of whom have been in prison and house arrest since March 14, and six in exile.

They are charged with the criminal offense of preparing an act against the constitutional system and security of Serbia, in connection with calling for a violent change of the constitutional system, based on, as their defense attorneys claim, illegal wiretapping of conversations.
As Autonomija previously wrote, the arrests and political persecution of 12 Novi Sad students and political activists who started a wave of protests in Serbia followed the publication of an audio recording, which state officials stated was created at a meeting held on March 12 in the premises of the Movement of Free Citizens (PSG) in Novi Sad.
That footage was released to the public by the regime's tabloid media such as TV Pink, Informer, Prva, Studio B and Happy TV.
Eavesdropping on conversations and arresting participants
The media campaign and the showing of secretly eavesdropped conversations, that is, the premises of the opposition party PSG, was organized on March 13 this year, two days before one of the largest student and civil protests that took place on March 15 in Belgrade.
Members of the MUP then, after the media showed the secretly eavesdropped conversations, on March 14, 2025, arrested six people, including student Lazar Dinić, activist of the youth organization STAV and members of PSG Mladen Cvijetić, Srđan Đurić, Lado Jovović, Davor Stefanović and Marija Vasić.
The High Court in Novi Sad ordered them to be detained for up to 30 days, which was later extended for another 30 days, and they have been under house arrest since May, which was last extended until November 20 of this year.
The court ordered the detention of the tapped students and activists who are not in Serbia, and a warrant was issued for them.
