Dubočica Stadium in Leskovac has an area of 31.176 square meters, and according to the construction permit, it should have had 10.000 square meters. Also, this stadium does not even have a legally prescribed connection to electricity.
In addition to these details about the new stadium, Nebojša Cakić, who was sent by the people from Leskovac, recently revealed in the Parliament of Serbia that "the fire department did not give consent to the work carried out. In a word, this stadium does not have a use permit."
Cakić said that the procedure for amending the decision on the building permit has been initiated.
"European matches were played at that stadium, thousands of people gathered, and the request to change the construction solution was initiated only on September 5. Legally and formally, that stadium is still managed as a construction site and they put all people in danger".
Use of the building without a use permit is a criminal offense.
The Ministry of Public Investments replied that the "Dubočica" stadium was put into operation after obtaining the Consent for commissioning, and in accordance with Article 124 of the Law on Planning and Construction, according to which the facility can be in full operation for up to one year. a reported by the Rešetka portal.
They also say that 10.217 square meters is the gross area of the stadium, and 31.176 square meters is the total area.
In order to pay off the newly built stadium in Leskovac, it will be necessary to play exactly 612 matches with all seats filled, and since that is unrealistic, according to the calculation of the representative of the citizens' association "I ja se pitam" Bratislava Stamenković, it will take the next 40 years .
Leskovac is not the only city outside the capital that, according to the government's plan, will receive a stadium. It is not disputed that stadiums are needed, but one has the impression that these facilities are being built according to a political and not a sports key. Namely, Leskovac cannot boast of a football tradition, and the question is, if he asked himself, what would he like to get.
The same applies to Loznica and Zaječar.
They are from the Ministry of Public Investments for the Biznis.rs portal explained that the stadiums in Leskovac, Zaječar and Loznica were designed and built to meet the highest UEFA category 4 standards.
Based on that Ministry, Biznis states that the capacity of the city stadium in Leskovac is 8.136 covered seats, that 198 parking spaces are provided. and that the contracted value of works and equipment is 3,08 billion dinars.

Public procurement for works on the construction of the City Stadium Cika Dača in Kragujevac with close to 20.000 covered seats is underway. It is estimated that it will cost 11 billion dinars, and the works are planned to start by the end of 2023.
The following projects are also planned in the Ministry of Public Procurement:
Construction of a new sports hall of the Radnički Sports Association in Belgrade (total investment of 2,9 billion dinars) and construction of the Volleyball Competition Training Center in Belgrade (total investment of 3,15 billion dinars).
