Today (September 5), when a large protest will be held in Novi Sad called "Serbia, can we hear each other" starting at 19 p.m, there is no problematic scenario. "Srbijavoz" employees answer the phone and give information about today's departures. There are even buses to the city center from Petrovaradin.
Passenger and crew protection
Due to a "bomb report" from "Srbijavoza", were forced to temporarily suspend the traffic of all intercity trains on March 15 "in order to protect passengers and train crews".
The day before the big protest in Belgrade on March 15, trains from all over Serbia were suspended. In the notice, which was posted on the "Srbijavoza" website the night before the protest, it was stated that this company received an anonymous tip that "explosive devices were placed on intercity trains."
Everything was canceled on Vidovdan
The scenario before the big protest on Vidovdan, June 28, was even more problematic.
The buses did not run, and the stations did not pick up the phone, road works blocked the entrance to Belgrade, and "Srbijavoz" hastily informed passengers that it was suspending traffic due to reports of bombs. All this happened just one day before the big protest organized by students in the blockade called "See you on Vidovdan".
"Srbijavoz a.d. informs service users that on June 27, 2025, at 10:18 a.m., a call was received containing an anonymous tip that explosive devices were placed on all trains and tracks," it was written in almost the same announcement as the one on March 14.
In the following, it was stated that "the traffic of all trains for the transportation of passengers has been temporarily suspended, until the competent state authorities carry out the necessary checks".
