REC determined the final number of voters in the elections
The Republic Election Commission (REC) made a decision today on determining the final number of voters in Serbia

Are Dačić, Ružić and SPS performing for the public? Does Vučić also star in it or is he really afraid of "betrayal"? And should the Student List accept SPS, if the final outcome of the election depends on it?
These are all games for small children, says the president Aleksandar Vučić. That's how he succinctly described the months criticism of SPS vice-president Branko Ružić while the head of that party Ivica Dacic, as in, opposes those criticisms.
Vučić says that the Socialists want to be the "kingmaker", the father-in-law after the election. Is that so? And, if so, should the Student List swallow the frog in the form of SPS?
"Vreme" writes about the position of the SPS and other progressives in the new issue, which will hit the newsstands on Thursday (August 20).
In Marija L. Janković's text, the position is also discussed Rasim Ljajić and Aleksandar Vulin, but also the question of whether Vučić can really count on the Union of Vojvodina Hungarians.
Dusan Spasojevic, professor of political sociology at the Faculty of Political Sciences, tells "Vreme" that all the statements of people who collaborated with the progressives can be interpreted as a strategy to ensure a better position before the elections, and then more mandates.
But that is not certain. Because both Dacic and Ljajic knew how to "unstick" and then "stick", showing mastery in the discipline of staying in power.

It should always be kept in mind, says Spasojević, that the primary goal of the rebellious part of society is the disempowerment of the SNS.
"If the situation dictates the formation of a technical government with a short term, the students should accept it, along with all other actors who are much closer to them from the opposition," says Spasojević.
"It would be completely different if the Student List plans to become a political party. This way, removing the progressives from power should be their short-term priority."
