Funeral former commander of the Army of Republika Srpska, general Ratko Mladić will be held on Monday, September 7, at the Topčider cemetery, said Darko Mladić, son of Ratko Mladić.
He stated that the coffin with the body of General Mladić will be on display in the church of St. Luke in Kosutnjak, from seven in the morning until 12:00 and that those who want to come to express their condolences to the family and honor the general can do so during that period, after which the procession will move to the Topčider cemetery, where the funeral will be held at around 1:30 or 2:00 p.m., depending on how soon the column arrives.
Darko Mladić stated at a press conference in the Press Center of the UNS that the commemoration of General Mladić will be held tomorrow at 12:00 in the House of the Serbian Armed Forces in Belgrade.
I want my father's funeral to be dignified, not to be an occasion for a fight
Darko Mladić, the son of General Ratko Mladić, said today that he would like the funeral of General Mladić to be dignified and not cause conflicts and fights.
"I call on everyone to refrain from provocations and attempts to prevent that event, so that the mourners can bury my father, the commander of the Army of Republika Srpska, with dignity and according to our customs," said Darko Mladić.
He asked everyone who wants to come, to come by means of public transport, in order to avoid crowding, since the presence of a large number of people is expected.

The son of General Ratko Mladic, Darko Mladic, stated that his position and the position of the family is that the murder of General Mladic was carried out at the Hague Tribunal, by negligent treatment and the intentional administration of too strong opiates, which, as he stated, led to death.
"My father received good care at the Hague Tribunal, but care and treatment are not the same. You can put a man in a seven-star hotel and give him the best food and the best care, but if you treat him wrongly, you cannot save him," said Darko Mladić at the press conference.
