Representatives "ProGlas" initiative invited all citizens to stop for 22 minutes on Friday, November 11, at 52:15 a.m. and pay their respects to those who died during the roof of the railway station in Novi Sad falls on November 1.
In Belgrade, "ProGlas" representatives will be at four locations: on Student Square, the intersection near London in Kneza Miloša Street, at the intersection of Kralja Aleksandar Boulevard and Beogradska Street, and in New Belgrade, at the intersection of Art Boulevard and Arsenij Čarnojević Boulevard.
Similar actions will be held in Bor, Boljevac, Zaječar, Dimitrovgrad, Kruševac, Valjevo, Sombor, Raška, Lučani, Gornji Milanovac and other cities.

On the order of the Higher Prosecutor's Office in Novi Sad, the police arrested 11 people on Thursday due to the collapse of the canopy at the railway station, among them the retired Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Goran Vesić, former director of the Railway Infrastructure of Serbia Jelena Tanasković, former director of the Railway Infrastructure of Serbia Nebojša Šurlan and Assistant Minister for Railway Transport Anita Dimoski.
Member of the "ProGlas" initiative and writer Gojko Božović told "Vreme" that the arrests of the suspects for the tragedy in Novi Sad will not change the plan of that initiative.
"Our plan does not change because of the apprehension and arrest." In our opinion, it is a belated expression of the state's activity in that regard. Those news are still contradictory, and the lists of initials of those arrested are probably incomplete," said Božović.
Action at the national level
He says that from the very beginning, the idea was to transfer the action that started on November 14 in Novi Sad to the national level and to have people in all cities of Serbia join it, in order to pay tribute to all the victims of the terrible tragedy.
"We must remember those people and express reverence for them and their sacrifice, and on the other hand, we must unyieldingly demand that the responsibility has a name and a surname." We see that institutions do not work in this country, that the only institution through which citizens can exercise their rights and protect the public interest is pressure. That is why the action we are organizing in its second part has messages of warning, demands and protests because the investigation is going slowly and because there is no public word about political responsibility," said Božović.
Show deep human understanding
The regime in Serbia insists on quantity, numbers and majority on all issues, it can be expected that it will try to relativize this action by mentioning how many people joined it. That's why we asked Božović how important the number of participants in this action is.
He pointed out that the most important thing is for people to show their attitude, show respect for the Novi Sad victims and show solidarity and deep human understanding for all those who suffered terrible losses.
"People will express their position in different ways and in different places, the idea is not to gather everyone in one place, to make it a mass protest with speakers. On the contrary, the idea is to stop for a moment in order to remember the tragedy, the names of those who died in it, and in the next step to demand that all the names of those responsible in the criminal and political sense be available to the public and be part of a transparent process," Božović concluded. .
"Free organizations of Serbia"
Ivanka Popović, a member of the "ProGlas" initiative and a professor at the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy in Belgrade, said at the press conference where the action was presented that citizens will show that they do not agree with the unjustified detention of people who expressed disagreement with the authorities and that they will clearly emphasize the desire for Serbia to function as a legal state.
"We do not agree that the government should divert attention from the procedure for determining responsibility," said Popović.
Local Front activist from Kraljevo Predrag Voštinić also presented the organization "Free Organization of Serbia", which will organize this action together with "ProGlas".
"We do not stand behind the 'Proclamation', we stand in front of it and we will defend it," said Voštinić and emphasized that the current situation must not turn into a civil war.
