About 20 young people from Mitrovica set off on Saturday, December 6, at seven in the morning, on a more than 35-kilometer journey to Šid. As they explained, they decided to come and liberate that city again on the day of the anniversary of the liberation of Šid in the Second World War.
Along the route they were joined by residents of various places they passed through, and in Kuzmin they also received the support of farmers who joined the column with tractors.
In Šid, a protest "Let's defend Šid" was organized. In Karađorđeva street in the center of Šid, a service for walkers and those gathered at the protest has been set up.
Niš
The students of Niš invited the citizens to a gathering to mark one year since the blockade of the Faculty of Philosophy. Then they were supported by the then dean Natalija Jovanović and 171 professors.
"The Faculty of Philosophy started the entire blockade action in Niš. After a year, we can see that the blockades have produced results, but we see that the Faculty of Philosophy has become a thorn in the boot of our government, and that is why we are splitting the faculty as retaliation," said history student Stefan Tomić at that meeting.
The protest in Niš ended with "he who doesn't jump is Ćaci". The students called for a support rally in front of the Palace of Justice on Monday, when the trial for the nine students begins.
