Workers Nikola Tesla Airport, members of the "Sloga" trade union, announced on Thursday that they will not join the strike, because the employer accepted the union's request, and at the same time the members of the "Together" union will go on strike, as they announced.
The increase in the salary package will be higher than the requested increase of 12 percent that the union "Sloga" sent to the general director Šivoin Rem, which in total represents a higher increase than in April 2024, writes FoNet.
"For the sake of truth and with the aim that the membership and employees receive timely and accurate information, we reiterate that unrealistic demands can negatively affect the amount of the agreed increase," the statement states.
The announcement states that the employer points out that, if a possible work stoppage would threaten the business, he would not be able to comply with the agreed increase.
At the same time, members of the union "Zajedno" will go on a 13-hour strike at midnight on Thursday (March 24), as they confirmed for "Vreme".
Members of that union had previously organized one hour warning strike, and this time they will strike for a whole day while respecting the minimum work process.
"The workers are dissatisfied with their wages, we had negotiations with the management and they gave us an offer that we are not satisfied with." We are asking for our wages to be in line with the average in Belgrade", it was said earlier to "Vreme" from the trade union "Together".
