U Novi Pazar the students of the State University of Novi Pazar are being detained, the media reports.
Police in Novi Pazar detained two students of the State University in Novi Pazar (DUNP) today, the Novi Pazar portal TAKT announced.
The official reasons and details of this arrest are not yet known to the public,
DUNP students reported to Nova. rs that three of their colleagues were arrested.
"In the middle of the biggest Muslim holiday, Ramadan Eid, in the spirit of which Muslims visit their relatives, friends and loved ones, students from Novi Pazar are being detained. Three have been detained so far. They are allegedly being detained for violating the Constitution," said DUNP students.
According to them, the houses of detained students are being searched.
DUNP students invited the citizens of Novi Pazar to join them in a rally in front of the Police Administration building, in order to show solidarity with the detained colleagues and demand answers from the authorities.
