Belgrade Communal militia and JKP "Parking Servis" started removing properly parked vehicles on Thursday, without prior notice to the owners, claims journalist Nemanja Šarović in a video published on the X social network.
Šarović states that the reason for such an action by communal services is a "sect meeting", that is, a three-day public meeting called by the President of Serbia. Aleksandar Vučić, which should be held on April 11, 12 and 13 in Belgrade.
The same is claimed by a few readers of the Nova.rs portal whose vehicles were parked on Bulevar Kralja Aleksandra.
And those citizens claim that cars are being removed from completely regular parking spaces, primarily in the vicinity of Tašmajdan and along Bulevar Kralja Aleksandra.
On the other hand, Nova states that the Parking Service said that the cars were moved at the behest of the Belgrade City Administration due to the mentioned gathering.
Citizens also claim that no one informed them where their vehicles were moved and that they are being moved "as they see fit and where there is room".
Information about the car can be obtained if you call the parking service and give the registration number of the vehicle. That way you will find out if it has been moved and to which location, writes Nova.
