Inspector Slobodan Milenkovic, known by the nickname Mali Senta, "was again targeted by the BIA", says his lawyer Zdenko Tomanovic.
Tomanović announced that "Milenković spotted unknown persons who were undertaking the actions of remote audio and video recording and direct physical escort, both in the facility where he was located, and during the movement of Milenković."
After Milenkovic stopped those persons in the presence of citizens and restricted their movement, he established that they were members of the BIA who were on assignment, claims Tomanović.
"After the arrival of the patrol, Milenkovic reminded the authorities that the BIA is one of the services that, according to information received from confidential sources, is involved in the preparations for the liquidation of (chief of operations of the Fourth Department of the Belgrade Police Dušan) Mitić and Milenkovic," Tomanović said in the statement.
If, he adds, the laws of Serbia were valid for everyone and "if there were no individuals and groups that are outside the law", the BIA, Tomanović stressed, would have to explain to the citizens of Serbia why it is observing Milenkovic - whether by order of the court or for others purposes.
