Serbia is still recovering from the tragedies at the Vladislav Ribnikar Elementary School in Belgrade and Mladenovac. How much the children were shaken by everything that happened last week is best shown by the fact that several of them were admitted to the child neuropsychiatry department in Belgrade in just one day.
"The number of children complaining of psychological problems has increased. In just one day, four children were admitted to the child neuropsychiatry department in Belgrade, two who wanted to kill themselves, and two who wanted to kill someone," confirmed Minister of Health Danica Grujičić.
She said that the Ministry of Health is preparing mobile teams that will hold lectures in schools and open discussions "about all types of addiction".
"To talk about all kinds of addiction in schools, from phones, from games, from narcotics, and from tobacco," said Grujicic.
She added that it is necessary to interest children in extracurricular activities.
The head of the Special Prosecutor's Office for high-tech crime, Branko Stamenković, said that even the least threatening message on social networks will be checked to the end, and this includes determining the location of the broadcast, search and arrest.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed that more than 120 events have been reported in recent days due to threats by students as well as the publication of inappropriate content on social networks.
