High school student from Kosjerić arrested six hours before graduation

Final year student gymnasium "Sveti Sava" from Požega, LE was arrested six hours before the prom night celebration, the Initiative for Požega announced.

As they stated, according to the information they have, the high school graduate from Kosjerić He was detained for up to 48 hours, and on Thursday, June 12, he is expected to be brought before the High Public Prosecutor.

"The news of the arrest justifiably caused violent reactions among all free-thinking citizens, his fellow citizens from Kosjerić, but above all schoolmates and their parents. Everyone absolutely expresses concern and indignation about the reason, but also the method, and the time of detention. Such a repressive method of the criminal and criminal authorities additionally conveys the message of the lack of understanding and compassion for young people in one of the most important moments of their schooling," the Initiative for Požega said in a statement.
