MP of the Dveri movement, Radmila Vasić, filed a criminal complaint against the Prime Minister of the Technical Government, Ana Brnabić, to the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade today, due to the suspicion that, despite the ban on gatherings issued by the police and confirmed by the Administrative Court, she sent an invitation to members of the LGBT community to attend a rally and act contrary to that decision.
Vasić believes that, because of this, there is a basis for doubting that Brnabić, as prime minister, committed the criminal acts of obstructing justice and causing panic and disorder, "and possibly other acts that are prosecuted on official duty".
She pointed out that a walk of a large number of citizens who oppose the event should have been held in the immediate vicinity of the Europride, reported to the competent authorities, and that, despite being aware that there is a risk of attacks and mutual conflicts , violence, destruction of property and other forms of disruption of public order and peace, invited members of the LGBT community to gather.
Vasić recalled that Brnabić invited members of the LGBT community to a gathering and a walk on Saturday at a press conference, guaranteeing everyone's safety, despite the fact that the Ministry of the Interior had banned that gathering and walk.
As she assessed, we are witnessing impermissible interference in Serbia's internal affairs and undiplomatic actions and behavior of representatives of the European Union and American Ambassador Christopher Hill.
"On Saturday, the Constitution, all laws were trampled on, it was shown that state institutions make one decision, and that politicians act as if they are above the law and make the opposite decisions, thereby violating their own constitution," concluded Vasić.
