The CRTA organization assessed that the video he posted was influencer Branko Babić political on social networks child abuse in the context of the pre-election campaign in Smederevska Palanka.
According to the CRTA, the video posted on Babic's Instagram and TikTok profiles shows an apparently underage boy who, with questions and suggestions from an adult, says "Long live Vučić" and says that he will vote for the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, when he grows up.
As stated, the video was taken in the area of the municipality of Smederevska Palanka, where local elections are being held at the end of the month.
"An unscrupulous act of political abuse of a child was published on the profiles of influencer Branko Babić on social networks. The video clips show an apparently underage boy who, prompted by the questions and suggestions of an adult, shouts 'Long live Vučić' and says that he will vote for Vučić when he grows up," the CRTA announcement states.
From that organization, they assess that such content represents a violation of child protection standards and remind them of the obligations from the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
"In addition to violating all child protection standards, including the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, this shameless manipulation is a violation of basic humanity," CRTA said in a post on social media.
