What used to be the "We - Strength of the People" Movement has now turned into a branch of the Serbian Progressive Party. Congratulations Aleksandar Vulin and the services that did it masterfully, said Ratko Ristić, one of the recently expelled members of the "We - Strength of the People" Movement, whose president is Dr. Branimir Nestorović.
At the press conference held on the occasion of his expulsion and the expulsion of four other members of the Presidency from the "We - Strength of the People" Movement, Ristić told the disappointed membership and individuals "who are not a small number" and who "understood what is happening", he told them not to become discouraged and "not to vote for the 'We - Strength of the People' option".
Ristic advised those people to vote in the upcoming elections for those who have shown "a far greater degree of resistance to the truly inadmissible and brutal manipulations of the regime."
"Cheap fair pun"
He stated that he and his party colleagues believed they were members of an "authentic, sovereignist, patriotic, Serbian movement", but that political fairy tale remained "just a cheap fair pun" that happened at the "so-called party assembly" held on Monday.
"At that assembly, we had the opportunity to see live a part of the Serbian population that is somewhat mockingly called 'sandwichers', and all those physiognomy that you have seen in the previous months and in the previous few years in Ćaciland - all of that poured into yesterday's assembly, and they were all completely unknown people brought to usurp the work of the assembly and who were brought to exclude the five of us from the Presidency at all costs," said Ristić.
He emphasized that he experienced great personal disappointment in Nestorović.
"He accused us of being part of the police action 'Lisica', which was created to break the movement, that our driving motive was to remove him and get hold of the movement's money. None of that is true. We never considered the removal of Professor Nestorović, who was the unquestioned leader of the movement, nor was money our driving motive," Ristić pointed out.
He pointed out that the expelled members of the movement "are at least part of the BIA or the 'Fox' police combination that was supposed to destroy the movement."
"Numerous individuals, insufficiently literate and very aggressive, were brought into the movement, and they put pressure on Professor Nestorović. At one point, he stopped communicating with the members of the Presidency," explained Nestorović.
Ilić: Nestorović is no longer the same man
Slobodan Ilić, who was also expelled from the "We - Strength of the People" Movement, said it was a pleasure and an honor for him to meet Nestorović "who existed until July 15 of this year".
"Unfortunately, since July 15, Professor Nestorović is no longer that man, he doesn't look like that, he doesn't smile like that, he doesn't talk like that. It remains a mystery what happened to him," Ilić said.
He stated, referring to the expelled members of the Movement, that "the team will surely remain together with many more people".
"In the Movement, 80, 90 percent of people are absolutely against what is happening. That is a few thousand people who are completely disappointed and will not stay in the Movement. We will continue to be the strongest and fiercest opponents of Aleksandar Vučić's regime, especially on national issues," Ilić concluded.
