Movement of Serbian Forces – BK (PSS-BK) made a decision: on the announced early parliamentary elections will be released independently, for the first time in eighteen years.
Honorary President of PSS-BK, Bogoljub Karic, says for "Vreme" that his party only wants to participate in the elections in order to "reconcile our nation, which is completely divided" and that it is time to propose to the citizens of Serbia to support them in order to "reach peace and stability".
He pointed out that their economic program is absolutely the strongest and that there is not a single party or individual that can match the economic program of PSS-BK.
"What Djokovic is in tennis, Karić is in business", said Bogoljub Karić and emphasized that the citizens of Serbia will judge whether they will vote for accomplished people, who do not come to power to do something for themselves, but for the citizens and Serbia.

At consultations with Vučić
The brothers Bogoljub and Dragomir Karić participated in the pre-election consultations with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, on behalf of their party, and informed him that they will contest the elections without his coalition, which they were in from 2012 to 2022.
"We received an invitation to come for consultations and, as responsible people, we accepted it with great pleasure. We informed him of our intentions to propose our vision, program and experiences from around the world to the citizens of Serbia, and let them decide who they will vote for," said Karić.
Vučić, he says, wished them luck and said that when he makes a decision on the date of the election, everyone will know.
Blurring the political scene
Political analyst Đorđe Vukadinović says that he was surprised by their decision to go to the polls and that he had expected the activation and a more significant role of Karić in the media sphere.
"In politics, he doesn't really have any weight, and it's hard to imagine that he will have any significant role. But the fact that he decided to activate, or it's better to say if Aleksandar Vučić decided to activate him, means that things have burned down and that Vučić decided to throw everything he has into the fire, in order not to cloud the political scene as much as possible," Vukadinović said.
He also says that the Karić brothers cannot be seen as independent or oppositional political actors and that Karić is not a dissident from the SNS ranks.
"This activation does not have the same political weight as his activation at the beginning of the 2000s. Now it is a small move by Aleksandar Vučić on the margin of the political chess board. I am more surprised that Karić agreed to this role."

Political excursions of Bogoljub Karić
Bogoljub Karić won about 18 percent of the votes in the 2004 presidential elections. After that, his party independently went to the republican elections only twice, in 2007 and 2008, when it failed to pass the census. Since 2012, the Movement of the Forces of Serbia - BK acted in a coalition with the Serbian Progressive Party until the 2023 elections, when they did not run, but supported the list of Aleksandar Vučić.
