Professor of the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade Biljana Stojković she stated that at the student plenums, there is intense talk about the political articulation of current affairs protest, stating that he believes that a decision could be made on this issue very soon.
"There are variants - either it will be an expert interim government, or it will be a call for extraordinary parliamentary elections. In any case, whatever the articulation is, we know that Aleksandar Vučić will not give it," said Stojković.
Stojković, who is also the co-president of the Zajedno party, which united with the Democratic Party, assessed that early elections are currently not a solution for Aleksandar Vučić and that he will probably try to prolong the situation.
From a political point of view, she believes that elections should not be held, given the experiences with government manipulations in previous election processes.
"The way Aleksandar Vučić organizes the elections is lost in advance. According to some data, he starts with half a million or a million extra votes for himself, through the manipulation of voter lists. It is a complete loss in advance," she added.
On the other hand, as she added, if students initiate the articulation of elections, with or without opposition parties, Zajedno and the Democratic Party will certainly support any decision they make or the university list.
She also assessed that, if there was "theft" in such elections, it could be a big challenge for peace, and that in that case "big conflicts" could be expected.
"No matter what that list looks like - university, student, whatever, if it (theft in elections) comes to that, I think there is a great danger of major riots, which depends only on Aleksandar Vučić, because he cannot win the elections any other way than to steal them," Stojković told N1.
